I listen to lots of different kinds of music! I mostly listen to indie pop-punk, folk, alternative indie, and OST/soundtracks! but honestly im interested in most music. theres definetly genres i would say i dont listen to a ton of, like country and rap, but even then theres always exceptions! you can check out my Spotify HERE! where i create monthly playlists and playlists for characters i like, or keep an eye on this page for when a song really catches my attention! im no music critic, but ill try my best to give my thoughts and talk about why i like a song :3
(6/14/23> Trash -- Alex G im sure anyone whos touched tiktok in the last year or so knows alex g, even if not by name. hes got a ton of good songs, and quite a few have blown up on tiktok. im sure i wont be the last to say he makes absolutely beautiful music, but his album "Race" is CRIMINALLY underrated. His most popular songs are definetly "treehouse" and "I wait for you" (which isnt even on spotify?? FUCKED UP!) but im SUCH a big fan of "Trash" right now. The fucking organ??? its so haunting. its got such a gorgeous instrumental im so obsessed with it. and the lyrics r amazing too, but ive always been more of a slut for beautiful instrumentals. as a Huge Autistic Loser i legally have to associate all my favorite songs with a character from whatever media im into, and i defenetly associate this song with Eridan from homestuck. Sorry. hes defenetly not my favorite character, but i think he is a bit misunderstood. Hes not a good person dont get me wrong, but hes an interesting character. okay eridan rant over sorry. (6/3/23) Ghost of Chicago -- Noah Floersch i found this song from an edit on instagram! SUCH a cute edit of dave and karkat from homestuck. idk. i think the song suits them quite a bit. HOWEVERRRR. i really fell in love with this song the other night. I was a little high, home alone and making myself a strawberry toaster strudel. This song came on (as i had put it on my smoking playlist right when i found it... it just fits the vibe) and it was just. its SUCH a cute song and i was grinning all silly and singing along. its such an adorable song and im so glad i found it.
(6/1/23) Dante's Inferno -- Whirlybird I love this song sm right now! It's the first song ive heard from this artist but its SOSO catchy. its so fun for me to song along to since its nice and in my range, and i LOVE the sound of the guitar!! its so funky :O cant wait to check out more of their music
